The V5 standard offers significant advantages
to Carriers in providing an open standard interface
supporting end-user narrowband services in a efficient
and cost effective way. Different from V5.1, more
capable V5.2 may support up to sixteen 2.048Mbits
links on one interface and support ISDN PRA user
ports. A capability of traffic concentration is
also another features of V5.2.
 MSAP2000
provides the standard V5 interface which complies
with ITU-T G.964, G.965 and G.965 supplementary
protocols. It has also passed compatibility testing
with local switches: Lucent BZ5000, NEC NEAX,
and SIEMENS EWSD. Our V5P solution supports V5.2
protocol and can provide up to four individual
V5.2 (4xV5.2). Each V5.2 is capable of the maximum
support to 16 E1 interfaces which provide up to
480 voice channels with non-concentration. This
allows the service providers to provide both on-demand
and leased line services, including PSTN Access,
ISDN BRI/PRA, Analogue and Digital Leased Line.
By provisioning to support 1:N concentration rate,
V5.2 will allow saving of switch port, transmission
equipment and transmission media cost.
The services provided through E1 with the V5.2
protocols can be also ensured reliability through
communication channel protection that allows assignment
of a secondary 2.048Mbits link as a channel back-up
