base grows up.
•
Power Supply Module
This module provides shelf and ring power, with
functions of over current protection and DC input/output
isolation. 1+1 power redundancy is operated when
adding two power supply cards to the shelf (COT/RT).
•
Main Processing Module (MPM)
MPM controls the synchronization clock, module
communication, time slot assignment, performance
monitor, alarm and alarm report, system self auto
detection, system database and user interface.
• Expansion
Link Module (ELM)
ELM helps service providers scale their networks.
Installing the module at COT to connect to extension
shelves, the system capacity can be expanded.
• Expansion
Processing Module (EPM)
At the RT or extension shelves, EPM is needed
for shelf connection, timing provision, and receiving
commands from the main shelf.
• V5 Processing
Module (V5P)
Provides a standard interface to the local switch
in providing narrowband services in a efficient
and cost effective way to end-users. Our V5P module
supports V5.2 protocol and can provide up to four
individual V5.2 (4xV5.2). Each V5.2 is capable
of the maximum support to 16 E1 interfaces which
provide up to 480 voice channels with non-concentration.
This allows the service providers to provide both
on-demand and leased line services, including
PSTN Access, ISDN BRI/PRA, Analogue and Digital
Leased Line.
• Packet
Voice Module (PVM)
PVM provides trunk network interface supporting
packet voice services. It uses a real-time cpu
and powerful digital signal processors (DSPs)
that support all functions needed to provide
the highest levels of voice fidelity and quality.
