ZyFLEX’s FORTA NMS is an element and network management system designed for FORTA 155. The NMS provides comprehensive network management of Configuration, Fault, Accounting, Performance, and Security with multi-level access control for end-to-end services. The FORTA NMS is based on a client-server architecture, which identifies logical groupings of functionality and is modular for maximum interoperability and flexibility.

FORTA NMS complies with System Network Management Protocol (SNMP) to retrieve the data in the network devices and then perform an analysis to give reports about network performance statistics for network health diagnosis and troubleshooting. Furthermore, with a friendly Java-based Graphical User Interface (GUI), FORTA NMS allows viewing the network status in a minute with a sophisticated display of advanced shelf interface. Network administrators can easily manage and monitor the system, and conduct effective provisioning for devices installed.
